Parenting support sessions at Pioneer Valley Psychology are individually tailored to your parenting needs. Whether you are new to parenting, are struggling or would like a better understanding of how you could further support your child’s well-being, we are here to help.

Sessions are guided by parenting programs (including Circle of Security Parenting), however our support is not limited to them. Additional resources, strategies and education can be provided relevant to your situation.

After engaging in a program you will be able to continue receiving support in weeks following completion.

The Parenting Support service is guided by our principal psychologist.

I am an infant and early childhood mental health specialist working in Early Intervention and in an out patient setting. I have specializations in trauma, attachment and disabilities. I provide child, dyadic (parent and child), family therapy as well as parent support and consultation.

I am a Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and COSP Classroom Educator. Our Organisation delivers COSP course every term in the Lithgow area and surrounds. Our course is currently funded and we can deliver the course at minimum cost to participants. We work with parents, grandparents or carers and can be flexible in times we deliver COSP. I have had the privilege to work with families and their children for 16 years and have a passion for child development, child protection and family functioning matters.

As someone deeply committed to supporting families and understanding the intricacies of attachment, I believe my education, experience, and knowledge make me well-suited for guiding you through this transformative parenting journey.

I have undergone specialized training in attachment theory and interventions, ensuring that I bring a nuanced and informed perspective to the Circle of Security Parenting course. This training has equipped me with practical tools and strategies to help you navigate the unique dynamics of your parent-child relationship.

My facilitation style is characterized by empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental approach. I create a safe and inclusive space where your experiences, concerns, and triumphs can be shared openly. I am genuinely passionate about supporting parents and guardians in fostering secure attachments with their children. Your journey through the Circle of Security Parenting course is a collaborative one, and I am dedicated to walking alongside you as you navigate the challenges and celebrate the successes of parenting.

I have 16 years industry experience working with intergenerational trauma, complex developmental trauma, domestic and family violence, mental health & out of home care. I have additional skills in supporting parents and children with challenging and complex behaviours as well as supporting parents raising children with a complex disability diagnosis as an NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner.
